Leonard J. Seraphin was born in 1943 and has extensive experience in estate planning and representation of small businesses. After spending over ten years in the trust industry, Mr. Seraphin was a partner in a Chicago law firm. In 1980 he merged his practice with Daniel J. Schifeling of St. Charles, IL. In 1994, his son, Scott L. Seraphin, joined him in the practice and the firm name was changed to Seraphin & Seraphin, Ltd. Through the years Mr. Seraphin has been active in professional and civic activities. He is a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow, received the Kane County Bar Association Community Service Award and was awarded the St. Charles Chamber of Commerce Civic Image Award. He currently serves as an arbitrator for the 16th Judicial Circuit Kane County, Illinois.

Scott L. Seraphin was born in 1968 and admitted to the Bar of Illinois in 1994. He joined his father, Leonard J. Seraphin, in the practice of law in 1994. Mr. Seraphin concentrates in Estate Planning and Probate, Guardianship, Real Estate and Business Law. Active in professional associations, he is currently serving as Secretary of the Fox Valley Estate Planning Council and serves as precinct committeeman representing the St. Charles Township Republican district.
